Apologetics

The links below are transcripts of hour-long lectures I gave to a Christian audience on defending the faith. Accordingly, they occasionally draw upon Christian resources and terminology. However, I strove to be respectful of and relevant to people of all convictions.

The two introductory lectures will be of most interest to Christians seeking to understand what apologetics is, how it is different than evangelism, and why it is worth doing. The next lecture puts forth a series of arguments in favor of theistic belief. The remaining four lectures are on specific objections or concerns that are reasons for doubt.

Introduction to Apologetics: Why We Do & What Now

Introduction to Apologetics: Why, Where, and When We Can & How We Should

Apologetics: Arguments for the Existence of God

Apologetics: The Problem of Evil

Apologetics: The Problem of Hell

Apologetics: Multiculturalism & Religious Pluralism

Apologetics: Ethical Objections & Ethical Relativism
